About Our Hair

What type of hair do you sell?
All Necessity Hair Co extensions and wigs are made from 100% virgin human hair. Virgin hair means it has never been chemically processed, colored, or treated, so you’re getting the highest quality, most natural-looking and longest-lasting hair available.

Can you custom color or dye my hair to match?
We currently offer our hair only in the colors listed on each product page. We don’t provide custom dyeing or color-matching services at this time. If you’re unsure which shade is right for you, reach out to us at [your support email] before ordering and we’re happy to help you choose.

How long does virgin hair last?
With proper care, our virgin human hair can last 1-2 years or longer, even with regular wear and styling.

Ordering & Shipping

How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are processed within 3-5 business days before shipping. You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.

Do you ship internationally?
Right now we only ship within the United States. We’re working on expanding, so stay tuned.

How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll get an email with tracking information. You can also check your order status by logging into your account on our site.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my wig or extensions?
Yes, within 7 days of delivery, as long as the item is unworn, unwashed, and returned in its original packaging with tags attached. Because these are personal care items, anything showing signs of wear or styling product can’t be accepted back.

What if my item arrives damaged or wrong?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue, and we’ll cover return shipping and send a replacement or refund right away.

How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Care & Maintenance

How do I care for my hair extensions or wig?
Treat your Necessity Hair Co hair like your own. Wash with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, detangle gently starting from the ends, avoid high heat without a heat protectant, and store on a wig stand or in a silk/satin bag when not in use.

Can I color or heat style my hair?
Yes, since it’s 100% virgin human hair, it can be heat styled and even colored. We recommend keeping heat tools under 350°F and consulting a stylist before any major color changes to preserve hair quality.

How often should I wash it?
Every 4 weeks when you have an install, or sooner if you’re using a lot of styling product. Overwashing can dry out the hair, so less is often more.
